Terms of service
Last updated September 17, 2026
These terms apply when you create a GGPatcher account or use the service. Please read them together with the refund policy and the privacy policy.
1. Who we are
GGPatcher (“the service”) is run by [FULL LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS], [COUNTRY] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].
2. The service
GGPatcher lets the owner of an online game server (“you”) distribute a game client to their players. It consists of:
- a web panel where you upload game files, write patch notes, manage maintenance and configure your launcher;
- storage of your files and their delivery to your players over the internet;
- a Windows launcher with your branding that your players download, which keeps their game files up to date and starts the game.
One account and one subscription cover one launcher for one game server.
3. Your account
You must give correct information when you register and be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done through your account, including by the admin users you add.
4. Free trial
A new account gets a free trial of 3 days with 1 GB of storage. No payment details are needed.
If you do not start a subscription, your launcher stops receiving updates when the trial ends, and the account is deleted together with all its files 7 days later. This cannot be undone.
One trial is available per person and game server. We may refuse or end trials that are used to get around this.
5. Subscriptions and payment
Plans and their monthly prices are shown on the pricing page and in the panel. Plans differ in storage; all features are included in every plan.
Card payments are processed by Stripe and crypto payments by NOWPayments, each under its own terms. The final price, including any tax, is shown before you pay. We never receive your card details.
A card subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Crypto is paid in advance for the number of months you choose and never renews by itself: when those months run out, delivery stops until you pay again. If we change a price, the change applies from the renewal that follows our notice in the panel, given at least 30 days in advance; months already paid for are not affected.
6. Cancelling, failed payments and changes of plan
You can cancel a card subscription at any time in the panel, under Subscription. The service continues until the end of the month you have paid for. Crypto months cannot be cancelled: they simply run out.
If a renewal payment fails, your players keep receiving updates for 3 days while Stripe retries the payment. After that, delivery of updates and of the launcher stops until the payment succeeds. You can still sign in to the panel to pay.
You can change plans in the panel. On a card, a larger plan applies immediately and the difference is charged; a smaller plan applies from your next renewal. If your files take more space than a smaller plan allows, you cannot upload until you delete files.
7. Refunds
Refunds are handled as described in the refund policy.
8. Your content
Your content is everything you upload or enter: game files, images, names, patch notes and settings. It stays yours. You allow us to store, copy and deliver it to your players, only as needed to run the service.
You confirm that you own your content or have every permission needed to distribute it to your players, including permission from the owners of any game, software, trademark or artwork it contains. You are responsible for your content.
If we receive a credible notice that content infringes someone's rights or the law, or if we find that it breaks these terms, we may remove it or suspend the account. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it. Notices can be sent to [email protected].
9. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- distribute malware, or anything that harms your players' computers or accounts;
- distribute content that is illegal or that you are not allowed to distribute;
- attack, overload or probe the service, or get around its limits or security;
- resell or share access to the service without our written agreement.
10. Your players
Your relationship with your players is yours. You are responsible for your game server, for the rules you set for players, and for telling them how their data is handled when they use your launcher. When the launcher contacts the service, we process your players' data on your behalf, as described in the privacy policy.
11. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available and your files safe, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. There may be maintenance and outages. Keep your own copy of your game files: the service is not a backup.
We may improve or change features. If a change significantly reduces what your plan includes, we will tell you in the panel beforehand, and you may cancel.
12. Liability
The service is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost players, income or data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event that caused it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to [email protected].
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Except where the breach makes it impossible, we will warn you first and give you time to fix it.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will announce important changes in the panel at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel before then.
15. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of [COUNTRY]. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.
