Privacy policy
Ostatnia aktualizacja: 17 września 2026
This policy explains how we handle personal data on ggpatcher.com, in the GGPatcher panel and when a GGPatcher launcher contacts our servers.
1. Who is responsible
For the data of our customers (game server owners and their admin users) and of visitors to this website, the controller is [FULL LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS], [COUNTRY]. Contact: support@ggpatcher.com.
For the data of players who use a customer's launcher, the customer running that game server decides why the data is used, and we process it on their behalf. Players should first contact the owner of their game server; we will help them answer.
2. What we process
- Account data: email address, server name, password (stored only as a secure hash), admin users you add, and when they last signed in.
- Security records: the IP address and time of sign-ins, including failed ones, and an audit log of actions in the panel with the IP address they came from.
- Subscription data received from Gumroad: the buyer's email address, subscription status, plan and license key. We do not receive card details.
- Your content: uploaded game files and images, patch notes and settings.
- Player data sent by launchers: the IP address, the launcher's version, and update events (started, completed or failed, number of files and bytes downloaded, game version). The launcher does not send names, game accounts or hardware identifiers.
- Website visits: this website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Our web server records the IP address and the requested page for security, in logs that are rotated automatically.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service you signed up for: your account, storage and delivery of your files, the panel and billing (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service and accounts secure and prevent abuse, using sign-in records, audit logs and server logs (legitimate interest).
- To show customers statistics about their launchers, using update events (legitimate interest of the customer, on whose behalf we process them).
- To keep records the law requires (legal obligation).
5. Who receives data
- Our hosting provider, [HOSTING PROVIDER], which runs our servers in [HOSTING COUNTRY].
- Gumroad, Inc. (United States), which sells and charges subscriptions under its own privacy policy.
- Discord, only if you add a Discord webhook: the messages you choose to send, such as patch note titles and upload counts.
- Authorities, when the law requires us to.
We do not sell personal data. When data goes to a country outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States, the transfer is protected by the safeguards the law requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep data
- Account data, content, audit logs and update statistics: while the account exists. They are deleted when the account is deleted.
- Trial accounts that never subscribe: deleted automatically with all their files 7 days after the trial ends.
- Sign-in sessions: deleted 7 days after they expire or are ended.
- Web server logs: rotated automatically and kept for a limited time.
- Records the law requires us to keep, for the period it requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@ggpatcher.com; we answer within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority of the country where you live or work.
8. Security
Connections to the panel, the API and the launcher use HTTPS. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, download links are signed and expire, and access to data is limited to the account it belongs to.
9. Children
The panel is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data as customers.
10. Changes to this policy
We will publish any change here and announce important ones in the panel.
